THE GROUNDS

The gardens have been planned as a progression rather than a single moment. Peonies, lilacs, wisteria, iris, lilies, roses and lavender carry fragrance and color through the growing season, while flowering shrubs and trees create structure around the house.
 

Pollinator gardens welcome hummingbirds, bees and butterflies. Thyme softens the patios underfoot, and a secluded circular garden is equipped for intimate outdoor performances.

Outside, wraparound decks, a south-facing stone gathering wall and a heavy-beamed pergola create a series of outdoor rooms around the house.

A WORKING FARMSTEAD

Beyond the residence, the property is equipped for horses, growing and a wide range of pursuits. The four-stall barn includes a hayloft, heated workspace, tack rooms, a three-quarter bath and laundry hookup. A separate steel haybarn provides additional covered storage for vehicles, equipment or gatherings. 

 

The heated GeoDome, HighTunnel framework, chicken yard, fenced pastures, food forest gazebo and RV connections extend the property’s practical capacity throughout the seasons.

 

Tucked within the Fairy Grove, the Wendy House offers a dedicated place for children’s play and imagination.
